Yes, I am Going to get the DROID for a robotics project with an arduino, i can have a serial connection via bluetooth to and from the arduino/DROID and the droid will control what the bot will do. After Rooting my dad's G1 and putting CyanogenMod Android with a custom kernel and usb/wifi/bluetooth tethering capabilities(which is very awesome and simple)
