*shrug* I didn't claim Google wasn't evil, though. Their stances on Chrome and the Android Market have been sketchy. Not only that, their apps are often buggy and/or annoying. But some developers do deserve more credit than they get--see anyone who worked on Linux, openssh, apache, samba...the list goes on. > Find me an equivalent machine(including a display of that size/caliber) for > less than that cost. Running OSX on 900gb, 80 gb goes to > Windows7, and i run various linux in VMWare. They are impressive with their hardware. Some of their stuff looks amazing, performs well, and is worth the money. That being said, I'd say that those machines are the exception. Also, you can't use that OS X license you bought on any other hardware--it only works with Apple's products....and good luck with fixing it if it has hardware issues, if you don't have AppleCare or whatever it is it can be costly...I broke the screen on my late Macbook and they were going to charge $900 to fix it! That was about the price of a new laptop, so I sold it for parts and bought a netbook. > --you gotta install special stuff just to "make install" WTF? I gotta agree with every point there, and the first and third apply to Windows, as well. -- MarkTraceur Microsoft does half the work that Open Source developers do, and they get all the money.
