I have been programming since 1969, using Unix systems from about 1983
and Linux from about 1998. However, these were supported by the IT
guys, this will be my first system as the admin/root (not that I
should need much of that).
I'm really a vi/make kind of programmer {from back in the days you had
to write your own make files}. Occasionally resorting to rm *.o; cc -c
*.c to make it work properly.
