I wonder if booting to the live CD causes these problems? Maybe try
booting to another distribution all together, Knoppix perhaps, to see if
the problem still exists. If so its probably a hardware/driver issue.
Speaking of hardware, Vyshakh, having the specs can be /very/ helpful
when trying to figure out a problem like this.

Same here. I haven't had this type of "extreme" scenario happening on
my boxen, old or new. Despite the original poster attaching
screenshots of his machine, he still did not mention the specs of his
machine.
Whining is one thing. Knowing if its a machine problem, or a user
problem is another thing. The latter is worse.
