I find Ruby to be a delightful language.  At first it's kind of like
"Oh gawd, the classes, they're dynamic!  How does this work I'm
scared!" and then you get used to it.  Then it becomes "meh, I'll just
stick this data in that there class - because I can!"

Though if you learn Ruby, you'll end up learning Rails too.  It seems
the two are inseparable nowadays.  But then again... Rails skills can
get you nice things like a job.
