Cool. Not to disparage what you've already done, but you might find vector graphics a worthy next project. I'd suggest SVG; it's a simple XML schema with a lot of power behind it. I have a feeling that you could make something truly spectacular in the form of an SVG editor in the UX spirit of what you already have.
