If you don't have trust in your own /home folder, then who does? If you
don't trust your OS, then time to rethink about the OS or distro you're
using, or rethink about how you secure your system...

modifying the permissions to /lib like that is like jumping off the cliff
without thinking.. (or perhaps the jumping off the cliff thing is farfetched
but you get the idea.)
