Hi Jibu,

If you're looking for a Type 2 Hypervisor, I personally would like to recommend 
VirtualBox. I used it daily for my virtualization lab experiment on my Ubuntu 
desktop. It's stable, fast, and free. But if you're looking for a Type 1 
Hypervisor, I think KVM is supported by Ubuntu.
