I have a Dell Latitude D600 laptop running Arch with an internal ipw2100 chipset and a D-Link DWL600 Atheros based PCMCIA wifi card. Both will grab an IP fine from WPA2 encrypted networks, but not WPA encrypted networks. Back when the laptop had Win XP on it, there were no issues. Anybody have a clue why this is the case and what I'd need to do to get it to work. BTW - Wicd goes through the authentication process and queries for an IP address from the router (Linksys WRT54G2 V1) and times out. I've tried it several times with no success. HELP!!!
