I haven't -- to date -- seen a shred of evidence that indicates that
this was the case here. If the evidence exists, by all means, bring
it forth and let's evaluate it: because you're right, it's equally
offensive to construct a standard by stealth.
(BTW, I certainly hope that nobody expects to have a personal
invitation to partcipate in these processes. We all know how
they're conducted; we all know where to go to participate; we all
know that if we remain willfully ignorant or silent, others will
proceed without us.)
