As the List-Managers list manager, I would really like to see the _ad hominem_ unpleasantness on the list stop. It serves no useful purpose, and simply drives away those who would like to participate and contribute. We will certainly have differences of opinion on matters of both substance and style, but please let's not let them become the centerpiece of discussions. People are entitled to hold grudges and maintain personal animosities all they want... just don't post about them on List-Managers. Either private mail, or stewing quietly in your own juices, is preferable. I trust this will serve as a word to the wise. -- Michael C.
