Check into ListSTAR (not to be confused with Listar - I know they're a
little close in name, but I didn't know of ListSTAR when I named
Listar). It's commercial, or so I am given to understand, but is also
apparently The Mailing List Manager Of Choice for Macintosh users. It's
from StarNine Systems, I think - probably on http://www.starnine.com/
somewhere.
