I'm left scratching my head wondering why system administrators feel unable
or unwilling to put a filter on the front end which will convert HTML
encoded text to plain text. It's not hard.

There have been bitter battles fought by purists who feel it is
inappropriate to send HTML encoded emails. I'm inclined to agree. But now
that major providers are making it very hard for normal people to send
plain text, I feel it is inappropriate to block this type of email. Who is
servant and who is master? The internet changes - not always for the best -
but we cannot control it. We have to move with the changes.
