Run it in NS, and it may make it all the way through, however, it doesn't
matter if your browser times out. CF will still keep running until the task
is completed or it errors out. IE has a lower request timeout than NS, so
you can increase IE's timeout, or try it in NS. If it times out and you
retry, your going to have a bunch of these routines running at the same
time. If your sure there is no errors in the page, then leave it alone. A
browser timeout doesn't mean a server timeout.

Subject: Timeout Error During Verity Collection Run

I am trying to Index a Verity Collection for an Intranet site. The site
contains more than 7,000 pages of htm, cfm, pdf, doc and txt files, all of
which I want to add to the collection.

Because of the page volume of the site, the indexing takes more than 5
minutes. At exactly 5 minutes into the indexing, I am getting a MS Error
Window stating: "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet Site
http://127.0.0.1/cfide/administrator/verity/index.cfm?RequestTimeout=300.
The Operation Timed Out."

I am getting this error when I try the index via CF Administrator or
directly from a cfm indexing action page. I have disabled any timeouts in
CF Administrator.

I have tried restricting the index to only htm and cfm page but that doesn't
seem to help...the error still shows up.

Using NT4.0 SP6, IIS4.0, CFServer4.5.1

How can I get around this issue????
