Only on the server machine with the help of some C++ code.
You'll want to look into Javascript for the client side. Even then, you can't
change the resolution and you'll have to wait for a reply to be sent back to the
server or a cookie to be set as Javascript (Client Side) runs after
ColdFusion(Server Side) has finished processing.
