Hi
Ron,
Your
best alternative (though not foolproof) is to make the document available as a
PDF.
MS
Word has a feature under Tools called 'Protect Document', but I believe it
protects the document from being opened only.
Best
of luck,
Seth

Hi Everyone,
Does
anyone know how to disable the ability to modify and save documents to the
clients desktop or hard drive from a website? I have unchecked the Write
check box from the Default Web Site Properties under the Home Directory
tab. I also made the .doc file read only. Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance.
