LOL, yeah...it's not just SBC, freakin' Charter Communication is doing it too. One day, my email decided not to work, but webmail worked fine. Hmmm, lost? YES. Spent a long time trying to find what the hell was going on. Had to telnet check port 25 and sure enough it was being blocked. Solution, changed Outlook to port 26 and walla! When is port 26 going to be blocked? I'm sure there's a technical explanation to why 26 may never be blocked, but it's a damn good question. Pathetic indeed.
