For some reason, this thread is repeating itself in some cases and not forwarding in other cases. Maybe the server hasn't had its coffee this week. :-)
I received these responses a couple of days ago. Thankfully, I'm glad to say that the responses were a big help and I have my code working great. Thanks to everyone who contributed their thoughts. Is it better than a simple input statement in an HTML form? Not sure if my other message about this just didn't get through, but cffile is used on the form processing page to upload the file. There is no alternative on your form itself to the input type="file". Can you post your exact code and the error you're getting? This is still a pretty nebulous description at this point.
