With my cfcPowerTools app, I have it set up to where it has to check a web
service on my server one time a day (I set a session variable that times out
in 1 day) to see if the app is still in trial mode. Once user has purchased
a license(the trial is over), cfcPowerTools stops checking the webservice.
If still in trial mode, then compares the trial start date to the time
allotted for trial to see if the app should still work (this is what the
webservice does).

By the way, cfcPowerTools is now available. (http://www.cfcpowertools.com).
I plan on making a bigger announcement soon. (shameless plug)

Thanks

Yeah, sounds like I'm not going to get what I want to do (the
registration code idea) without giving up the nature of the application
I'm building (one that can be totally and completely modified by
purchasers).

OK, thanks all!
