yes. one really doesn't need to index the folder that has nothing but .cfcs in it. so I have to search each collection? can I make a collection that searches collections? I haven't tried collecting from other machines but do they need to be "open". like, could I index a remote web server that requires an nt login to view anypage.
and I guess having different collections that would solve my path problem? if I store to collection in the directory i index?
