DANIEL ELMORE: SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION When most people think of SEO they think of sneaky little marketing firms advocating black hat tactics or they think of the boring white hat keyword stuffing, meta tag filling and <H1> tag usage. I'll show what SEO has shaped into over the years and how it results in positive benefits to your site visitors. I have several anecdotes that will help paint a picture of the SEO "process". Specifically I'll explain the differences between Google and Yahoo's ranking algorithms, no math will be seen :), and then show how to use CF to build a spider friendly site.
