Well in G00, I can point to Gundam Dynames (1/144 HG) for including a
significant feature that's so far treated as non-standard equipment
(full shield). In Seed, the 1/144 HG Duel Gundam included removable
over-armor parts. Also there were HGUC and pre-HG Gundam Alex.

Actually I am a little suspicious of the way the HCMP managed to carry
it out. There might be some cheating-in-a-BIG-way going on there.
But it doesn't matter, it's hard to implement at 1/144 or smaller, so
cheat! It's not the first time HG model cheats, even a premium Gundam
as Zeta was a cheat at 1/144 scale (all implementations). What bugs
me is that the toy dept went out and did it, but the hobby dept.
stopped short.

Looking at the pix more carefully... I'm pretty sure the HCMP is a BIG
HONKING HUGE cheat.
