My vague recollection of Yzak's first meeting with Asuran in Destiny includes Yzak mentioning something along those lines to Asuran.
iirc, the manga (which doesn't entirely match up with the animation; for instance, Artemis is completely skipped) does the incident in a fashion that makes Yzak look worse than the animation does, but I don't remember exactly how it plays out and what the differences are.
