The information that we have on the Solar Furnaces doesn't really make much
sense to me so far. So I can't really comment on the question of how and when
the Thrones are recharged. Hopefully the upcoming episodes will have data as
the superpowers analyze the gift that's just been dropped in their collective
laps. Eifmann would probably have known based solely on his analysis of the GN
Particles (and his realization of the tie to the Jupiter project). But he's
dead.

My own impression of Veda is that it's a supercomputer onboard the Ptolemais
that's capable of collecting data gathered from various sources and presenting
a series of possible options to Sumeragi. Veda can be accessed through
consoles scattered around the ship, and remote links set up in places around
the world (for instance, when the bridge crew works out of Wang's home for one
operation). But certain functions can only be performed in the spherical
chamber that Tieria is often seen floating inside of (and which he catches Nene
coming out of). In theory, the details of what Ptolemais needs to accomplish
to carry out Schoenberg's goal is what influences the strategic plans that Veda
comes up with.

According to that line of thought, even if a group had goals completely
inimical to Schoenberg's, having access to Veda would still be useful as it
would act as a very well-informed intelligence source. You could tap into
Veda, ask it what the most critical components of the Union war machine were,
and carry out a strike based on that data. Whereas Sumeragi uses Veda both to
analyze the situation and present the best strategic options, the unknown (or
maybe not) group would be using Veda solely to analyze. The strategic
decisions would be made by those who analyzed the data.

My guess is that Nene did something that created a back door into Veda for the
Trinities' backer(s) to use to access Veda's data analysis. It's also possible
that their own suits were hooked directly up to Veda to allow the computer to
analyze the logs of their own missions (which might be possible with the
Ptolemais's Gundams - we already know that Felt saw that Exia was taking a
detour to Azadistan in an earlier episode, suggesting that Veda might track the
mobile suits in real time where possible).

I thought it was one of the pilots that claimed that the TRIAL system was
hurting them? Though I'm not sure why it would...

One would hope that the person piloting Nadleeh would be able to select the
specific mobile suits that the TRIAL system affected (that makes it a lot more
useful). So it's possible that even if Exia were in range, it wouldn't have
been shut down. But that's just speculation, obviously.

RE - Laguna Harvey deploying the Thrones to prevent the destruction of the
Solar Array. IMO, it doesn't make sense that he'd need to do this. Schoenberg
is supposed to be the person who originally created the ideology of CB, and
he's the person who figured out the science behind the Solar Array. The
Trinities' missions have, so far as we've seen, all been against the super
powers that have the most interest in keeping the Solar Arrays intact (since
the arrays are controlled by the super powers). So to me it doesn't make sense
that CB's mission would be aimed at removing the Solar Arrays. And the
Trinities' actions seem to make it more likely that something will happen to
the arrays, since it weakens the powers that protect them.

Throne GN Furnaces

Right before Nena attacks the wedding she is complaining how they have
been working constantly. If the Throne Gundams need to recharge did
they recharge between missions or does the charge last a long time?
Towards the end of episode 19 we find that they have a recharging system
at a hidden base in Africa. Is it the 4th furnace that was in their
ship when the Ptolemais scanned it or was it an additional solar
furnace? Since they aren't self regenerating suits do they use the 4th
solar furnace in their ship to recharge the Throne Gundams which is the
exact opposite of the Ptolemais Meisters' situation?

Veda

In episode 18 when Tieria is checking Veda and discovers that he can't
access data he says "What the hell happened? Veda" while they cut away
to Ribbons (Corner's assistant) standing on a roof top overlooking a
city.

On the ship Sumeragi says "Veda. It's what we call our lifeline to the
true plan... The quantum processing system. If someone did indeed hack
into Veda... Then we have no choice but to make plans on our own,
without Veda." So is Veda the whole master system they connect to or is
it just their connection to said master system? If it just their
connection then it might be possible that Nena wasn't accessing data
that she didn't have access to so much as cutting off their connection
to areas in the main system.

On a side note there is an instance where Corners lips aren't moving but
it sounds like his voice in a voiceover mentioning his thoughts which
further complicates whether it is him or Ribbons talking.

Trial System

When Tieria starts the trial system there is an Error message on his
console.

The Purple Haro says that the Trial System is hurting him.

Tieria says "When linked with Veda, this Suit has an absolute sphere of
influence. This is the true power of Gundam Nadleeh. The ting given
only to me, Tieria Erde...the Gundam Meister Trial System!" That is
what made me wonder if he is actually part of the Trial System. His
eyes turn gold whenever he connects to Veda and they revert back to
brown when the connection is cut off. Tieria's comment after Lockon and
Setsuna's confrontation "So these are humans..." further reinforces my
belief that he is not human.

I can second that Corners smiles right before the Trial System shuts
down.

Solar Array System

Lockon mentioned the Solar Energy System being the source of the world's
hope and grief. The move away from Fossil Fuels ruined the Mid East
economy and started the Solar Energy wars that went on for at least 20
years. The visuals seemed to suggest that the fighting was mainly in
the Mid East. But I began to wonder if it was really the Mid East
against everyone else as that could explain the terrorist attack Ali
Al-Sarshes group made in Ireland that killed Lockon's parents and
sister? I am really convinced that the Solar Array System will end up
being an even bigger issue as the story progresses and will probably be
destroyed before the end of the series.

Kinoue's assistant told her about Laguna Harvey, the president of the
Linear Train Company. The name definitely sounded different then Halvey
which further separates it from Louise's family. What it also does is
possibly connect it with the comment Nena Trinity made about going to
Laguna. This makes me think that if the Throne Meisters are false
Meisters they were sent by Laguna Harvey to prevent the destruction of
the Solar Array System.
