Schoenberg is supposed to be the person who originally created the
ideology of CB, and he's the person who figured out the science behind
the Solar Array. The Trinities' missions have, so far as we've seen,
all been against the super powers that have the most interest in keeping
the Solar Arrays intact (since the arrays are controlled by the super
powers). So to me it doesn't make sense that CB's mission would be
aimed at removing the Solar Arrays. And the Trinities' actions seem to
make it more likely that something will happen to the arrays, since it
weakens the powers that protect them.

The bit about Laguna sending the Thrones to protect the Solar Array was
merely speculative theorizing.
Lockon essentially says that the Solar Energy System is what started the
Solar Energy War. The fighting in Azadistan is caused by an energy
crisis in addition to the ethnic/religious issues. The Moralia fighting
was over control over the Solar Elevator there. While there are
multiple other issues in all of these conflicts the one thing they all
share is the energy crisis.
Setsuna and Lockon both talked about a new energy source being the
Gundams. I really think that that Solar Array System is coming down at
some point in the series. It will most likely be replaced by whatever
fuels the GN drives from Jupiter.
CB as a whole might not have that goal but I really think that
the Ptolemais Meisters will split off from CB and take down the S.A.S.
as it is a source of conflict.
