There was nothing free about them. The people voting were those who
were allowed by the ICANN board to vote. Just like in the other
constituencies, and just like in every other activity of ICANN.
Manipulation. Partiality and favoritism of special interests.
Capture, in short.

The voting was rigged. CORE is not the "Internet Committee of
Registrars", it's just a trumped-up and illegaly incorporated front
for a handful of self-seeking people who have managed, for the
moment, to get the upper hand because they're a little better
organized than others, and because they are willing to use lies and
unfair tactics that most people have too much self-respect to
employ.

There were no free elections. There is no democracy in the DNSO. It
is the province of special interests like CORE, ISOC, and the INTA,
who plotted to create ICANN, put in board members favorable to them,
and fill ICANN's subordinate entities with their members and people
in agreement with them.

I don't give a d**n whether they do or not. NSI has nothing to do
with what's happening. NSI is being used as a convenient pretext by
the ISOC/CORE/INTA coalition to get control of the DNS. That's all.

> But then, maybe they will decide to join CORE, why not? ;>)

CORE no longer exists. What is left is an illegal trade association
for the purpose of creating a monopoly in order to restrain free
trade, and as such will be dismembered and outlawed.
