Just curious. We're the Linux group... we should perhaps be showcasing some of the fine Linux products that are out there for failover, redundancy, etc., which includes Tim's suggestion of Nagios or BB. I have some hardware and bandwidth available. I'll be happy to provide some sort of service. Think about how we as a 'group' can use some of the modern marvels that are available in Linux and it's services for avoiding any sort of downtime in the future.
