Ah yes.  One of my personal web sites was refusing to resolve (change
to a different server, and it still worked...) and I found out (since
the hosting was through a friend) that my friend had managed to let
one of his domains expire, and somebody else bought it up.  That's
fine, he wasn't really using it for much.  Except that was the domain
that I had my pointers set to, and by changing servers, I was just
moving to those who kept the address around longer till nobody did.
Not a happy camper.  But it's a friend.  So I have to worry about
pissing him off.  Too much that is...
