I took that as different web app port, not ldap server port, but could use clarification :) Most servers these days tend to allow you to specific or configure a port. Though not all support privileged ports out of the box, such as Tomcat, unless you run those apps as root. Which is most times a big no no. Unless something starts as root and forks another process under a different user. Which is what Apache and some others due. -- William L.
