Its not to be taken as anti-professionalism. More to counter any
negativity directed towards hobbyists, and non-professionals.

I wasn't making any argument or cases against that point. I think
professionals get due respect. I am not sure the same could be said for
hobbyists. For example some professionals may feel there is little to no
value from associating with hobbyists or other non-professionals. Which
might be true, but also could be closed minded.

That is some what another argument to be made. I am not sure pressure
always delivers good with value. I think passion, paid or not, tends to
deliver more good with value. Than pressure or most any other means of
motivation :)
