Do any of you have any experience with WAN emulators? I recently set up WANEm and was reasonably impressed with the results but I thought I'd look around some more.
http://wanem.sourceforge.net/ It also looks like dummynet does similar things but is limited to BSD. http://info.iet.unipi.it/~luigi/dummynet/ I also stumbled across wanbridge: http://code.google.com/p/wanbridge/ Does anyone have any experiences and/or recommendations to make in this space? Basically, I am looking for something which is relatively easy to set up for simulating latencies and bandwidth restrictions. The ability to model other subtle network behavior is a bonus.
