Reminds me of the (likely made up, but who cares?) stories about the
first attempts at machine translation from English to Russian:
English: Russian:
Out of sight, out of mind. Invisible idiot.
The spirit is willing, The vodka's good,
but the flesh is weak. but the meat is spoiled.

Note: No offense is meant to our Eastern European friends. When I
first heard these (mid 70's), the joke was on the AI crowd who had
been claiming that natural language translation was "within 5 years".
They'd been claiming that for about 10 years... ;-)
