Web Designer - Australian Securities Exchange
The Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) has an exciting opportunity for
a suitably qualified individual to utilise their technical expertise and
creative flair as a Web Designer within our Interactive Services
internet marketing team.
You will be responsible for the web style guide as well as ensuring the
usability and ease of navigation for the ASX web sites, while meeting
customer's needs and achieving best practice. The key challenge in this
role will be your ability to create and manage an efficient and user
friendly website that caters to a diverse range of end users.
To be successful in this role you must possess commercial acumen and a
sound understanding of customer behaviour, in addition to interface and
information architecture design.
You will demonstrate a proactive and innovative approach in ensuring
quality and efficiency in service delivery to your customer base. The
ability to work flexibly and productively within a team, in addition to
strong analytical and problem solving skills are a prerequisite for this
position.
Tertiary qualifications and relevant technical skills encompassing
XHTML, XML, CSS and Flash are essential. Previous experience as a Web
Designer within a major financial corporation would be desirable.
