Job description:
We are looking for a professional User Interface Developer. In this role you
will be required to produce XHTML/CSS/JavaScript code developing innovative
and strong technical solutions based on finished Photoshop designs. The User
Interface Development team acts as a bridge between the design team output
and technical development team input and as such will be responsible for
frontend delivery, liaise with backend developers and media sales and have
an understanding of interface design, accessibility, and usability
principles.
Essential
* Demonstrated in-depth commercial experience with HTML, XHTML, CSS and
JavaScript/DOM.
* Demonstrated in-depth commercial knowledge in Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
* Demonstrated in-depth understanding of usability, validation,
accessibility and W3C standards.
* Strong knowledge of cross-browser problem solutions.
* Demonstrated awareness of Usability Engineering, HCI or Human Factors
principles and issues.
* Demonstrated in-depth ability to work with Windows XP.
* Experience working with FTP applications.
* Experience in graphic design and knowledge of graphic design principles.
* Excellent verbal and written communications and time management skills.
* A thorough approach to quality results and attention to detail.
* Demonstrated ability to work cohesively within a team.
* A strong customer focus.
Recommended
· Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related disciplines
or equivalent commercial experience.
· Demonstrated awareness of the participation within a software
