We are born into cultures that are the product of previous generations.
Jesus said things that are reported by others. He was a different kind
of man.

Ok, I get it. Jesus is a reported phenomenon, like the Buddha.
I wonder why life is so difficult to live and get right.
Why do we have to be aware, walk the 8 fold path, or repent.
Isn't it hard enough getting through the day without trouble?
I just saw Vernon Howard on youtube.
And he said the problem is me.

Jesus did not write anything. He spoke and he did things. His deciples
reported on what he said and Paul expanded on it. What is written
either makes sense to you or it does not. How do you know whether
anything is true? You have to check it with something within and do
your best with it. Does it resonate as truth or not?

You said that no authority should be accepted blindly.
This implies reservation with regard to K's infallibility.
Do you see Jesus in the same light too and that he should
not be taken for granted as the absolute truth also?

It has been a long time. I remember that his words seemed to be loaded
with truth.
I can't remember anything specific.

What are the K insights you find amazing?

to see what they have to say about life.)

K communicated amazing insights. He was a very intelligent man. It
has been a long time since I
listened to him. He seemed like a genuine authority on his subject.
No authority should
be blindly accepted however. I also liked Vernon Howard and still
listen to Roy Masters.

The act of will in negating the hypnotic state is futile, you say.
Attempting to be different is not fundamental change.

Not just Edward, but Mystic Media even.)
What about K? I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt.
What is your take on him?

The problem with life is that we are hypnotized by our environment.
We pick up problems from those around us since childhood.
If we work to throw off the hypnotic state we live in, we fail because we
are
what is observed.
We just move the chairs around on the deck of the Titanic.
If we can becomes still in a right way, something new might enter and change
things, allowing us to see
things that need to be seen. Awareness dispels the hypnotic state.
I know of no other way. Negating everything in an attempt to be different
does not work. It is an act of will.
