Unfortunately, if I’m understanding what you’re trying to do correctly you
cannot add CM12 content to a Shared DP. One option would be to create the
content in CM07 and get it on the DPs, then run a migration job to bring it
into CM12 and make it available via the Shared DPs.

Subject: [mssms] Shared DP with MDT packages

We are well underway on migrating from CM07 to CM12 but expect this to take
many months to complete. I am attempting to use the Shared DPs to allow for
content delivery and OSD services. The standard packages and basic OSD services
work and successfully download content from the local CM07 DP.

However, when I attempt to install packages added to MDT, it fails with an
error: "No Http location found" (snip of failure in smsts.log attached).

What we have in place is:
   CM07 with MDT 2010 update 1 (5.1.1642.01) - 1 Central, 4 Primaries
   CM12 with MDT 2013 (6.2.5019.0) - 1 CAS, 2 Primaries

The primary goals are to provide a single client environment, reduce dual
environment support, and gain Windows 8.1/10 imaging support before all the
infrastructure has been migrated.

Any ideas?
