We are currently building all content in CM07 and migrating it to CM12 so that is not my issue. What I want to do is use the CM07 Shared DP to deploy packages from MDT 2013 during OSD. All attempts to this point have failed as the CM12 MP responds with an SMB content location and the OSD process rejects this reply looking for a URL location reply. The SMB location is correctly pointing to the CM07 Shared DP. All applications directly added to the task sequence successfully deploy from the CM07 Shared DP.
A client at a site with a CM12 DP does receive a URL content location for this same package. I assume this is a fundamental difference between the traditional package share and the SIS on CM12.
