I have a friend that did the in-place upgrade and sleep isn't working properly.

I guess I should make him run the driver update. ;)

found the issue, the issue was i simply used the wrong driver package (Windows 
8.1 versus Windows 10), as identified via the readme.txt

Speaking of which, I've had horrific battery life on my Latitude E6540 with 
Windows 10 64-bit and build 10525.  I just noticed today that the AMD Catalyst 
Control software was running at 100% CPU usage.  I've applied the newest 
drivers and it seems good!

and both of you are using the official microsoft provided drivers ?
are you SURE the backlight is going out ?

I believe mine stays on for about 5-10 seconds but then goes out.  I’d have to 
look at it again when I have it on hand.

hi guys
anyone notice with the official drives that when you press the power button to 
sleep the screen blanks but the backlight is still on (obvious power drainer)
anyone else seeing this ?
