I found this post with similar behavior. I went ahead and deleted all of the
Configuration Manager Client packages that it would allow me to delete.

Also, I forgot to mention previously but I do have client auto-upgrade enabled.

Subject: [mssms] Client Upgrade package re-running every day

I'm seeing this behavior on several machines lately (both server and client OS)
where the advertisement for the Client Upgrade Program will run every day and
it appears the client is repairing itself. As you can see in the screenshot
below of execmgr (which I've filtered so you can see the times), its close but
its not at the same time every day either. In addition, I'll see the following
in the Application event log ...

Windows Installer reconfigured the product. Product Name: Configuration Manager
Client. Product Version: 5.00.8239.1000. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer:
Microsoft Corporation. Reconfiguration success or error status: 0.

I thought I remember seeing a hotfix for this. Does that ring a bell for
anyone? If I dreamed that, any ideas on what may be going on here? Is it
something to do with the client health task?
