I'm curious to see what folks are doing in the cases where patches just won't install. I have a number of vulnerabilities in my environment that are at the point where a good number of devices don't take the update. This includes 3rd party and Microsoft. I'm having issues with 6 updates and looking for some guidance on how people are dealing with the obscure patches that require registry modifications, or DLL replacements, etc.
Does anyone have a step by step process they use for narrowing down the root cause for these issues? Any tips and tricks for forcing a patch to install? Re-image isn't an option. [😊] Thanks, Brian M.
