Thanks all,

I have found the problem but not the resolution as yet.

The problem is with SQL 2014 Always-On.

When the Operations DB or DW are running as the active role on the secondary
node SCOM cannot access the databases.

Will keep looking into this and report back when I have a solution.

Subject: [msmom] RE: SCOM 2012 R2 SDK Service is failing

Login failed usually means there is a bad password somewhere.

Check the service account running the SDK/DAS service, the service account
running the Config service, then check each RunAS account where SVC_SCOMDA is
used and reset those passwords.

You said in your email "SCOM is saying it cannot write to the OPSDW" but the
event you showed has nothing to do with the DW - it is Config - which is a
totally separate process.

Subject: [msmom] SCOM 2012 R2 SDK Service is failing

Can you help me please?

SCOM is saying it cannot write to the OPSDW below using Account SVC_SCOMDA
however this account is a local admin and has SQL login/and appropriate rights.
I have checked that it can read and write data to tables in the DW database.

However I keep getting this and then the SDK service fails.
DB space and Log space is OK
I am told the SAN is ok

I cannot figure out what the problem actually is.
