Maniac Magee (Spinnelli), The Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, The Hunger
Games-Catching Fire, The Forest of Hands and Teeth-The Dead Tossed Waves,
The Evermore Series

These are books I am bringing to my 8th graders. I have struggling readers
as well. The books aren't super easy, but very interesting.
