Hi!

So I'm just curious as to how any of you may be celebrating banned books
week. I want to do something with my students - I've kept them informed
about the recent attempt to ban "Speak" in one district, they're already
all outraged, and I think it's a good teachable moment.

Resources I've found:
http://www.bannedbooksweek.org/
http://madwomanintheforest.com/blog/ (Laurie Halse Anderson's description
of the "Speak Loudly" campaign in support of "Speak")

What ideas do y'all have?

Take care,
Bill Ivey
