Actually I think the language switcher is not working as expected. You can
add a second language, and the keyboard layout switches when clicking on
the icon. But the chosen key combination (i.e. Alt-Shift) to switch
between languages does not seem to work. (I see this on two VM's.
could as well be a vm key mapping issue. at least vmware has an issue with ALTGr which is mapped to STRG+ALT for some reason and this way clashes with the key combination to leave the vm.
I have other VM's (EL 6.2) running on the same machines, and no
problems switching between keyboard mappings there.
