Hi all,
After two weeks of reviewing installers and fixing several build
issues regarding git setup and 64 bit architecture, we are in a
position to release the first alpha build for OSGeoLive 9.0 series.
For this build all installers were enabled (for both i386 and amd64
architectures) and many things are expected to be broken, so it is
important for us to test and identify issues at this early stage.
Please report your findings here:

Hi,
Initial testing results show that 32 bit iso is in great shape, only 1
project has major issues (Ushahidi).
For 64 bit iso things are a bit different. Projects need to provide
patches for installers to use 64bit code.
Projects failing in 64 bit iso:
1. Cartaro
2. Kosmo
3. gpsdrive
4. gvsig
5. mb-system
6. OpenCPN
7. ossim
8. uDig
9. Ushahidi
Best,
Angelos
