The container terminal is on the north side of the river going towards 
Wilmington (up river). Generally not an overly problimatic area unless there is 
ship traffic. They handle a fair amount of small ships. On the other side of 
the river before you get there is Sunny Point Army Munitions Terminal. It is 
not marked, but they don't want you to be there any time, any where, any how. 
That's on the south side. Also there is another terminal on the south 
side?there that appears to be a fuel terminal of some sort. I don't know what 
that's about. There is a nuke power plant close by there also.

At Cape Fear River, there is a container ship terminal that I have never 
seen a ship at.  I was stopped off there and told I was in a restricted 
area.  I was about 200 feet shore side of the main channel but not inside 
any marker buoys.  If it is not on a chart, and doesn't have buoys is it 
really restricted, or was the police boat having a boring day?
