I made a serious mistake today. I let myself get sucked into this idiotic gun debate. I was about fed up with idiots and made a tongue in cheek comment about making a sawed off shotgun. A lawyer friend sent me a private email (which all this gun crap should be if you just have to show your ignorance) and pointed out that if a fed read it, it would be all they'd need to get a search warrent and show up at my house.
So why did I do it? My level for tolerating morons is pretty low, and the moron factor lately is pretty high. I reached my limit and before I thought, I sent a sarcastic comment. In this day and age, that can be dangerous. So, what is wrong with you morons? Can't you read the rules? No politics, no guns, as I recall. I guess there are those here who think the rules apply to everyone else, like the idiots who drive down the higway, endangering everyone, cutting in and out of traffic, running lights and so on. Oh, another rule is something like no personal attacks. No, there are no personal attacks in this email. Like Joe Friday said, "Just the facts". It's a fact that if you shoot a 12 gauge shell in a plastic flare gun, you'll prove Darwin right. A stainless flare gun? Come on, idiot, that is a sawed off shotgun under federal law, and if you had one you could go to the pen for many years. Carry one on your boat? Right. Moron. All you idiots carrying on about guns are like a bunch of Friday night cowboys. Never rode a horse and probably never will. If you'd been anywhere, you wouldn't be spouting this crap. And where is Vern? Why didn't you shut this stuff down. And why don't I just hit the delete key? I'm to morons like an alcoholic is to whisky. I do stupid things when I get around too many of them. The only way to stay safe is to stay away. I've been there, done that and don't need this list to do it again. I certainly don't need idiots goading me into doing something stupid. Adios.
