Since many of these comments are directed right at me I
guess I should respond even though Gene chose to leave the
list. First of all it is apparent that Gene screwed up
and mentioned something that he realized was not smart to
mention. He then decided to blame everyone else for the
fact that he mentioned it.

Now first of all the question was asked and it was said by
the original poster to answer him directly but serveral
people thought it had information that is relevant to the
list. I believe that it is very relevant.

Second calling everyone on the list a moron is indeed a
personal attack just because he is doing it to a group
instead of one person doesn't make it any less personal.
In fact he did directly attack me!

I am the one who brought up stainless steel flare guns and
guess what not only are they not sawed off shot guns but
since most of them are WWII vintage or older so they would
be a collectors item and under different rules. Maybe
because Gene felt the need to saw a shot gun barrel down
to less than 18" makes him an expert on what makes a flare
gun into a shot gun I don't know.

On to his last point where was I? Well I was involved in
the conversation and until this no one had any problems
with the discussion.

So I guess we should end this topic before we "force"
someone else into revealing the fact that they are
breaking federal fireams laws.
