I agree with Ron & Norm.

Norm's attitude may come from the fact that he can remember a time before water
nazis & condos on every inch of waterfront were the norm. So can I. I
remember a time when people were intrigued by & welcomed liveaboards &
cruisers. I also remember when the Coasties were our friends... back before
the Holy Wars on drugs & marine heads.

My experiences in the last 7+ years in Fla leads me to feel the state of
Florida hates boaters, except perhaps those with trailerable boats or mega
yachts.

Bella,

Are you and Norm bosom buddies? Because if you are not, you are making personal
attacks on another list member - and that is not permitted. Norm has his
experience and you have yours. I enjoy reading Norm's emails.

Florida is making itself into liveaboard hell and cruiser unfriendly. Higher
fuel costs will help Florida reach its goal of entertaining zero out-of-state
cruisers and liveaboards.

Good luck in trying to get an accurate vote count this November. Early practice
runs with mark-sense machines have not been encouraging. Why is that so I
wonder?

Its a good thing, Norm, that so many years ago I had not met a jaded,
sourpuss like you...
