I don't motor 90% of the time, in fact I seldom
motor at all. But I AM very cheap about energy
consumption, because I hate running gas generators
or motors.

Besides, you don't need a honda generator, I have
a good size solar panel and a wind genny, and my
led anchor light would not run down the battery
for months even without any alt any charging, but
for some reason I do not understand even folks
with generators try to save $ by getting cheap,
dim, or unreliable anchor lights!

With todays tech there is just no excuse at all.

And I still maintain that jet skis should not be
driven at night, in fact that is not legal for a
very good reason...with a larger boat you do not
drive it in such small places as jet skis commonly
go at the speed they do, and kids are not as
likely to drive larger boats either. And with the
speed they have when running in the normal manner
they were designed for going nearly all the time
you need to be able to see far ahead, night just
doesn't cut it.

Or would you care if it was legal to fire a 30-06
rifle in your back yard in the city just because
"not everyone" would do so in a dangerous manner?
Hey, I'm sure I could rig a bullet trap that would
make it safe...-Ken
